Death of Heroes is a roleplay group on Tumblr, focusing on the organisation S.H.I.E.L.D. and its rebuilding. The group takes place after the events of the first season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.Not knowing who they can trust any more, Special Agent C and Special Agent D are tasked by Deputy Director Maria Hill to locate and train a group of agents in an attempt to rebuild S.H.I.E.L.D. to its former glory. Searching around the globe to find retired S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, Special Agents C and D must be wary of who they recruit, for they do not know who they can trust.Choosing the top agents from their list, the Special Agents have persuaded them to meet in the bustling city of Toronto, specifically at the University of Toronto, St. George campus. It is at the school that old friends reunite, and rivals face each other once again.In addition to being categorised into eight teams, the agents must work together so they are able to blend in with civilians, and at the same time find out who they can really trust.The roleplay's plot has many elements of Fanon Discontinuity, such as the finale of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is disregarded, as well as the entirety of the show's second season.
