Well, you get Boosted! The series was initially known as The BLEEP Esports Show, hosted on its YouTube channel by G4TV. The reporters comprised of noted esports personalities Froskurinn and former LCS personality Ovilee May. During each show, the hosts go over the world of esports in a funny and unique way not unlike the Daily Show. On rare occasions, they would often bring in guests as a way to further the discussion in regards to the topics at hand. What's more is that this is G4's first new original program since its initial shutdown back in 2014. All episodes can be viewed here. The show was renamed to Boosted for G4's relaunch in November 2021, and added popular esports commentator Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez as host.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_2'); })

Large Ham: At least a handful of the guests of the show epitomizes the trope. One notable guest, League of Legends streamer Tyler "Tyler1" Steinkamp exemplifies his 'Alpha' persona namely his streaming accolades as well as being able to bench press at least 435 pounds.

Deadpan Snarker: Frosk has this in spades especially with her delivery in humor throughout each report she reads.

The "Fun" in "Funeral": The hosts did a eulogy of the weapons that didn't make the cut of the Halo Infinite game in a mock funeral.

Running Gag: The Esports Update is done every episode and it's a cold read off the prompter, where both Frosk and Ovilee say that they haven't seen what was written beforehand and the writer can make them say anything. Whenever the hosts try to pronounce the second part of the show's original name, it often gets bleeped out. In fact, it started out literally in its first episode to which the hosts were deciding a name for the show. From there, Frosk suggested a word that was censored with the aforementioned bleep. In later episodes whenever someone asks what the word in the title is, it's censored with the bleep.
