Couple of Mirrors (Chinese: 双镜, literally Double Mirror) is a Chinese Period Drama set in the early Republican era.Xu Youyi is a famous and successful writer living in Shanghai with her husband, Zhou Heng. Zhou Heng's father is a powerful minister in the national government, so powerful that he was able to get Heng a powerful position of his own, and combined with Youyi's writing success the Zhou family is amongst the richest and most influential in Shanghai. However, despite their wealth and fame, Youyi is growing dissatisfied with her marriage, exacerbated by her suspicion that Heng is having an affair.
