Man Like Mobeen is a British comedy-drama series that follows Mobeen Deen, the titular British-Pakistani-Muslim character, as he navigates a post-criminal life in working-class Small Heath, Birmingham, raising his teenage sister Aks (short for Aqsadine) and getting into various hijinks with his friends Nate and Eight. The show was created by Guz Khan and Andy Milligan and is a continuation of the Mobeen character that Guz Khan created on YouTube while he was still a secondary school teacher.A standalone pilot episode aired on 1 September 2016 on the BBC iPlayer. The series first aired on BBC Three on 17 December 2017 for four episodes. A second four-episode series aired on 6 February 2019. A third five-episode series aired on 26 January 2020, and a fourth four-episode series was released on 8 June 2023. Outside of the United Kingdom, it is available on Netflix in North America. | |
