Arabian Fight is a 1992 Beat 'em Up arcade game made by Taito. The ancient Middle-Eastern Land of Shaharayarld is being menaced by an Evil Sorcerer, Baruantess, who inflicted a curse on the wise Sultan turning him into a baboon. Without a ruler, Shaharayarld falls into chaos as Baruantess and his army of rebels, pirates and various monsters quickly took over, the forces of evil threatening to overwhelm Shaharayarld, and it's up to four heroes to undo the curse by defeating Baruantess.Players can choose between the four: Princess Lisa, the fastest in speed and furthest in range, and the sole character capable of firing energy projectiles but lowest in health. Sindbad - yes, that's how his name is spelled, the legendary sailor from the myths who wields a BFS capable of executing a Charged Attack. Afshaal, the burly Captain of the guards who can hit the hardest thanks to his spiked ball-and-chain combination, though the slowest because of his size Prince Lassia, the well-balanced Jack of All Stats who is easiest to use.See also Arabian Fight, another Middle-Eastern-themed arcade actioner released in 1992. | |
