Batman Returns is a Beat 'em Up game developed and published by Konami in 1993 for worldwide release on the Super Nintendo. It takes its cue based on Beat 'em Up games made in the early 1990s like Final Fight and Streets of Rage. There is only one stage sequence where Batman needs to drive his Batmobile. The game has Batman going into Gotham through seven stages (known as Acts), all of them based on the movie of the same name. While Batman fights the Red Triangle Circus Gang, Catwoman and the Penguin in the streets with his fists and feet, he has access to the batarang, the grappling gun and test tube bombs that can be used to wipe out enemies in a certain area as long as they are near Batman.

Exactly What I Aimed At: The player (as Batman) can repeat the feat depicted in the movie. The grappling gun is all but useless in Act 1-2, but using it on the wall just past the clown holding Selina hostage, and pulling the chunk of masonry on him, will knock off a significant amount of his life bar.

Hostage Situation: The Stungun clown (Terrifying Clown in the movie) uses Selina Kyle as a human shield when he sees Batman near the end of Act 1. You need to use the grappling gun to get him to release Selina before he's fought.

Put Their Heads Together: Batman can grab a couple of enemies and smack their heads together. This gives a lot of damage.
