Burial is an RPG Maker Explorer Horror game by Tokiiro Kaeru. It stars Kai, a boy who finds himself standing in front of a gravestone with no idea how he got there. He meets a red-haired girl, Lily, and helps her escape from a sword-wielding white-haired girl, and the two decide to hide in the basement of a nearby church.This leads them to an entire dungeon underneath the church, once used during a horrific, incurable plague to quarantine the afflicted and leave them to die suffering. Those who died there became Vengeful Ghosts and now haunt the catacombs, so Kai and Lily will have to escape while finding an exit.Can be downloaded here. Not to be confused with the musician. | |

Multiple Endings: Four, depending on your decisions. End 4: The standard ending. Kai reaches a dead end, upon which Lily reveals she is a spirit who lured him here because he is the reincarnation of the man who tried to save her, and she wants him to be with her forever. You also get this ending if you get to the End 1 final area but fail to complete the last puzzle in 90 seconds. End 3: The ending achieved if Kai says he isn't sure if they will get out. It is the same as End 4, only Suzette (the white-haired Grim Reaper girl) arrives in time to lay the two main characters to rest. End 2: Get caught by the white-haired girl at any point, and the main characters will suddenly die, their spirits shown as a blue butterfly. Lees of a true ending and more of a Non-Standard Game Over. End 1: Get the toy plush and little white flower, then tell Lily you are sure you will escape. Suzette comes and saves Kai from Lily, then tells him the truth and tasks him with breaking the curse on the church so the spirits can move on- should he do so, he and Lily are reunited and sent off to the afterlife. | |
