Corpse Party 2: Satsuki's Heart by moca is a Fan Remake of a long lost sequel to the original Corpse Party game. It greatly expands upon the original outline: fleshing out the listed characters, reintroducing planned gameplay mechanics, incorporating full voice acting and even included hints of content from the Blood Covered continuity. Satsuki's Heart takes place after Ending A where everyone survives the events of the school.A few months after their fateful encounter with the Girl in Red, Yuka Mochida’s friend: Satsuki Mizuhara receives an eerie letter in the mail, inviting her to an old abandoned manor in her neighborhood. Showing the letter to her friend group, its received with varying levels of skepticism. Yuka Mochida has a bad feeling due to one specific line in the letter: "At midnight, the coffin of your heart will open and be offered up."Despite Yuka’s best attempts to dissuade her from going, Satsuki feels something inexplicably compelling about this particular letter, that she can't just let this go. And so she goes through with exploring the old abandoned manor alongside Masami, Rina, and Sugimura. Yuka, worried about her friends’ safety, convinces her older brother and his girlfriend to tag along. Not long after entering the property, the seven are trapped and separated. They're forced to explore the building, encounter monsters, solve puzzles and try to keep each other alive. But there might just something darker behind the scenes, a truth Satsuki will be forced to uncover...After years of development during a very inactive period in the Corpse Party franchise, there's currently a demo that released proper in April 5th 2024.

Power Crystal: It plays a crucial role in this game, a Power Stone is provided by Ayumi to Satoshi after Ayumi learned to encapsulate the energy given to them to fight back against the Girl in Red in the original game. This stone is what gives Satsuki and her friends a fighting chance once Satoshi entrusts it to them.

Auto-Revive: The mysterious woman Satsuki and co. meet serves as this, as they share the goal of fighting against the manor's owner. However, her power is apparently limited as its exclusive to gameplay. She can't do anything about the extremely enchanted ways to die, which is usually the cause of a permanent death narratively.

Disc-One Nuke: There's plenty of ways to achieve this in Satsuki's Heart: Throwing Cards is the most powerful weapon in the game, shredding through an enemy's health with three consecutive hits. Masami in particular is the easiest to build as a physical attacker that can tear through enemies in a single turn.

Corpse Party 2: Satsuki's Heart (Video Game) / int_9aa17eb0 | comment |
Story Branching: As of the demo there are two main outcomes that the player can influence: If Masami will suffer a gruesome death in an enchanted incinerator or successfully saving him by completing the color coded puzzle correctly. Whether or not Rina falls into the enchanted black mud. Slightly more obscure due to the game seemingly framing it as an unwinnable battle for Rina. It comes down to using the right weapons and making sure not to neglect Rina's combat abilities. She needs to be able to take down two enemies in one turn which is only feasible if the player used her properly.

Corpse Party 2: Satsuki's Heart (Video Game) / int_bb48f8ba | comment |
Timed Mission: One of the planned mechanics for the game was this, fully realized in this game. The game is designed around exploring and battling before the game reaches midnight: leading to a game over. Every time the in-game timer reaches zero: the toll of a grandfather clock can be heard. The player has to save as much time as possible during the exploration sections as the longer you take, enemies will get stronger and more creepy events will happen.
