Death by Falling Over | |
Death Trips (Video Game) / int_6af8ebb5 | comment |
Death by Falling Over: Lady Death dies when they sprint at the player and suddenly stumble into a flower pot. It's notable that you can knock the flower pot and table yourself, but Lady Death is still scripted to die. Which means she literally dies by falling over nothing. Not Quite Dead: If you've taken a key from the lobby then rush headfirst into Lady Death as she runs towards you, your character will be unaffected and be able to open a door in the hotel revealing a hotel room with Lady Death's latest victim, with the message "Thank You For These 2 (or 3) Tripping Years" written in blood on the wall. The moment your character leaves the room to the exit, Lady Death's corpse is gone, and as you walk through the hallway, she suddenly shows up to jumpscare you, before the game ends.

Mood Whiplash: The game is quiet and builds up to the confrontation with Lady Death...and then she comically trips and promptly dies, ending the game. Cue the somber piano music as the credits roll.

Jump Scare: The hallway is dark and quiet. Then, loud music starts playing as the lights flicker on, and Lady Death is shown standing at the very end. Then they sprint toward the player. The secret ending features your character opening a door with the key they found at the entrance of the hotel. Just as they leave a bloodied hotel room, Lady Death disappears.
