Doodle World is a Mon game created by wish_z and others made on the Roblox engine. It serves as the Spiritual Successor to their previous fan game based on Pokémon once known as Project Pokémon. The game can be found here. The story takes place on an island simply named "The Island." You're living out your normal day-to-day life when your mother notices a flyer for the Key Hunt competition being hosted by DoodleCo. She pushes you to enter, but to do so you need a Doodle of your own, so you get one from the nearby professor. The story follows you and the Ragtag Bunch of Misfits you build along the way getting into shenanigans varying from wacky to frankly very depressing as you hunt for the ten keys held by Doodle Tamers all over the island.

Black-and-White Morality: Choices that affect the Karma Meter have an obvious right choice and an obvious wrong choice. Of course you won't destroy the heavy, historic door to get to the maze behind it when a bodybuilder is begging you not to and offering to open it for you. Of course you'll give such a small amount of money to the homeless beggar. Of course you won't be unimaginably rude to Erika when you're leaving DoodleCo Academy. That is, of course, unless you're going for minimum karma.

You have to trigger multiple Event Flags in Graphite Forest, including finding an axe, then approach the door to trigger the bodybuilder showing up. Your choice on how to get into the maze affects your Karma Meter. Graphite Temple cannot be reached until a puzzle is solved in Graphite Maze to allow passage to the portal that leads to the temple. A literal broken bridge leads to Runic Island. It is repaired after completing the accompanying sidequest given in DoodleCo Academy. Route 12 and the Doodle Printing Station are blocked by piles of garbage in Lakewood Tunnel. Cult: The Louis Fanclub, although it desperately tries to convince everyone otherwise. It could almost work.... until you step into their base, which is complete with sacrifice circles, statues of Louis, and torches as the only light down there.

Expy: As Doodle World was formerly Project: Pokemon, several Doodle designs take inspiration from, or have similar roles to Pokemon. Rosebug and Nibblen: A pair of early route Insect types, one of which is part Poison, resemble Caterpie and Weedle.note Thornet and Mawthra, the final evolutions of those lines, also have Awakenings, which itself is an Expy of Mega Evolution. Although with Rosebug gaining the Plant type upon evolution, it's closer to Sewaddle and Venipede. Louis being worshipped everywhere In-Universe calls Pikachu to mind. As with any Roblox creature catcher, there is an expy of Eevee. This comes in the form of the Flaskit line.

One-Steve Limit: Averted. There are two Zanes: Zane from the Oasis, and Rebel Zane, a Tamer in Route 12. Granted, it would be very hard to get the two mixed up, as one is a major character while the other is a completely optional battle in a completely optional area.

Doodle World (Video Game) / int_f51c5f3c | comment |
Never Say "Die": Justified, as this is a game on Roblox, a platform for kids. The only one who really does this is Zavier, as he is the most violent villain by far. Instead of referring to death, he has done the following: Saying "give me the key and I will spare all of you" instead of "give me the key or I'll kill all of you." Threatening to "burn [everyone] to a crisp" with Chronos instead of threatening to kill everyone. Threatening to disintegrate Mr. Riffraff instead of threatening to kill him. Vaguely stating that what happened to Erika in a previous timeline "wasn't pretty." Ordering Chronos to erase TJ instead of killing him. Averted when Suzie explains that the Shadow Clan is known for espionage missions and assassinations, albeit infrequently. Inari quickly dismisses the part about assassinations as untrue.

Living Drawing: The Doodles are.... well, Doodles. They are created by being printed, they are erased when they go down in battle, and can even have different appearances based on how they're drawn. (See the different Skins each Doodle can wear.)
