Touhou Kisoukennote "Oni Burial Sword" ~ Infinite Blade Pavilion is a Touhou Project fangame developed by Len (the co-creator of Riverbed Soul Saver) and written by Gagawa Ichi (character designer for several of ido's fangames) for the Danmakufu engine. The initial demo was released on July 7, 2019, with the full game coming out on September 6, 2020. The game stands decently well on its own, though seeing as it also serves as a successor to Mystical Power Plant, having knowledge of that game's events would help with understanding the story.Autumn is suddenly draining away from Gensokyo and toward the Underworld. The player characters, Reimu, Marisa and Youmu, are all fairly ambivalent toward the loss of autumn itself, but through its association with the Underworld or, in the case of Youmu, Yuyuko's orders, the group find themselves swiftly headed below the surface to figure out exactly what is going on.

Gender Bender: Ariwara no Miyabiko is the female vengeful spirit of the male Ariwara no Narihira. Her profile states that she took on this form since she felt it'd help her better understand the hearts of women.

Powerful, but Incompetent: Snow Cordie is a fairy with the ability to allow others to reach their potential, usually manifested as turning rocks into gemstones. It sounds powerful on its own, but keep in mind that she's a fairy and is thus limited by her own lack of intelligence.

Our Dragons Are Different: Megumu, the Extra Stage boss, is a Little Bit Beastly at best, and is noted for her ability to travel underground through a source of energy known as longmai (or dragon veins), including between Gensokyo and the Outside World.

Vengeful Ghost: Ariwara no Miyabiko is the vengeful spirit of a centuries-old poet who was an infamous womanizer in life, yet is now unable to move on due to being unable to woo one specific person. Kikyou is the vengeful spirit of a blacksmith who had died attempting to retrieve her master's body after a failed uprising. Her own regret combined with the regret associated with the items she'd stolen led to her becoming fairly powerful by the standards of vengeful spirits.
