His second phase is also replaced by a Hyperfold with many copies of Arnold’s torso all over it granting multiple extra attacks, and the Core also occasionally shoots fireballs at you. But hey, you get an intact Brass Knuckle for managing to kill this souped up Arnold! Similar to Roland, there’s also a Super Arnold if you reach either the second or third fold of infinity. Arnold’s much more beat up than usual, but the horde that usually chases you off joins in the fight, attacking either you or Arnold, with him responding likewise. He also gains a new One-Hit Kill attack where he crushes your skull and gives Brain Damage in his Clipped-Wing Angel phase. You do get the Bloody Valve from persevering, however. |

Anti-Frustration Features: Subverted. Many of the streamlined features added in later versions of the vanilla release of LISA: The Pointless were changed in this mod to bring back the huge difficulty factor: When Augustus tries to revive your party after falling during the Roland boss fight, Roland interrupts and kills Augustus before he can revive the rest, leaving you with only two living allies instead of the entire party. The box that holds an infinite amount of rotten fruit by the dumpster area now only gives you a few fruit before being turned into just a rotten pool of liquid. You can still heal the party with it, however the process is much, much slower, and because it no longer gives you items to take with you, you are forced to walk back to this space every time you want to heal without expending the little healing items you were able to find. The meat seller in downtown Olathe is no longer initiated as a battle, which prevents you from using the free turns to recover your SP. However, this is played straight in some parts: Garbage Island now has an underground tunnel system that allows you to quickly travel to points of interest, making exploring the new areas a lot easier A few hub areas have groups of crows instead of a single one, allowing you to save more than once in order to prevent you from losing too much progress if you die. Wiliam Double J. Palmer is still as ineffectual as he was in the original game, so you can use his fight as a chance to recover SP as long as you kill his partner. |

On Garbage Island, beating three Optional Boss fights, visiting Wasteville, and completing the Trash Enlightenment sidequest will upgrade Roland’s fightnote If Georgy left you he starts the fight K Od by Roland, either getting up by himself on the second phase or being revived beforehand, Roland opens the fight with his AOE attack, and kills Augustus before he finishes reviving your party, leaving Alex and Joel to fight a now shocked and saddened Roland, and drops the Scummy Valve, and skip the Richie Cheasedust fight after since he was mauled by a Rag Maggot protecting Roland. |

Nerf: A number of game aspects were given this treatment. Alex's Minor Iris was changed, dealing damage to Alex and applying the "off balance" debuff to prevent you from using any stances afterwards. Soda items now restore a percentage of one's SP, instead of a flat amount- generally resulting in less SP restored overall. Alex's Major Iris is no longer obtained through leveling up- instead, it is obtained by reaching the second fold of infinity. Like Minor Iris, it also deals recoil damage, and it applies the "Exhausted" debuff after using it. It is no longer possible to obtain the massive EXP boost you'd obtain by killing Dex Muldoon before he explodes himself. If you try to kill Pedro Rodriguez without using bottles, he will flee the fight before you get a chance, and you'll be given an alternate version of the Dex fight that gives much less EXP. |
