Boring, but Practical: Claiming land through relatively small squares carries a far lower risk of being killed, as if there are no other players currently visible on screen, they will not have enough time to reach the trail before it disappears. It is impossible for players to die while on their own land, so staying on said land is an effective way to play defensively. | |
