Libble Rabble is an arcade game from The Golden Age of Video Games developed and published by Namco and released to Japanese arcades in 1983.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })In the game the player takes control of two "arrows" with a string attached between them. The arrows must move around poles on the screen and form complete shapes to surround Mushlins as well as enemies and fully enclose them within. The player must harvest all the Mushlins on screen while avoiding enemies. Every screen also has a few treasure chests which take the player to a Bonus Stage if they are revealed. The stages in the game are referred to as "Seasons" based on the game's gardening theme.Sadly, the game would not release outside of Japan because of a lack of interest on behalf of Midway who handled all Namco games outside of Japan. Even home ports would be exclusive to Japan until November 2021 when Hamster released a worldwide port via the Arcade Archives Collection on Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_2'); })

Ambiguous Gender: Libble and Rabble, the two arrows in the game which serve as the playable characters. Thier genderless names reflect on their having a lack of gender.

Call a Rabbit a "Smeerp": The items you collect in the game are not called mushrooms, they are "mushlins".
