Mamorukun Curse! is a vertically-scrolling shooter developed by G.rev Ltd. and released in arcades in 2008. The game was later ported to the Xbox 360 exclusively for Japan in 2009.The player takes control of Mamoru, who ends up having a rather nasty accident, which results in his death. He then ends up in the Netherworld, and alongside three other characters, he takes to the skies on a quest to stop the Netherworld from merging with the Dark World.The gameplay is quite unique from other shoot 'em ups, as the scrolling is not automatic, allowing you to freely control Mamoru and his unlikely team of heroes around. You can use Curse Bombs (not to be confused with Cluster F-Bomb or Atomic F-Bomb) to make the enemies more powerful, but by shooting the cursed enemies, you will gain more points than just shooting the uncursed enemies. You can even curse yourself, which will result in you becoming more powerful.In 2011, the game was given an enhanced port for the PlayStation 3, adding in two DLC characters from the 360 version for free, and adding in a new Meikai Katsugeki mode, on top of it being in HD widescreen.
