Ambiguous Robots: The Metaloids are referred to as a "biomechanical race", though what this actually means is unclear. Civillian Metaloids, as seen in the intro, have few, if any, overtly overtly robotic features; however, all of the Metaloids who have been seen with their shoulders exposed (Erika, Neva, and the unnamed kidnapping victim seen in the intro) appear to have vaguely mechanical-looking lines/cracks on their upper armsnote Keep in mind that all three of these characters are female, so it could be a case of Bizarre Sexual Dimorphism.. The Predators, however, have more overtly robotic features, implying that they might be the equivalent of cyborgs. | |
