Microsoft Flight is a flight simulation game from Microsoft Studios created as a successor to the then-discontinued Microsoft Flight Simulator series. The simulation game is offered "free-to-play"; charging gamers for downloading extra content, aircraft or scenery. Unlike the enthusiast-centric Microsoft Flight Simulator games, Microsoft Flight focuses much more on the universal appeal of flight and aims to engage a much wider audience. It was released on February 29, 2012, through further development ended in July that year, likely due to slow sales. The game and its DLC was made no longer available to download in August 2013 after the Games for Windows Marketplace closed due to Microsoft's shift from using Microsoft Points to local currencies. The game's multiplayer servers were later disabled in October 2014.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })Needs Wiki Magic Love. | |
