Pokémon Coral is a rom hack by Coraldev based on Pokemon Crystal, first released in 2017. The game intends to provide an experience that feels like playing the original games for the first time, with the new region of Onwa, creators from the first seven generations, and plenty of discoveries. It also has lots of gameplay tweaks to make the experience feel more modern and comfortable, like the physical/special split, running shoes, and HM moves no longer needing to be taught to Pokemon to be usable.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })The hack is still incomplete, but it is playable and has enough content for play.

Balance Buff: Due to being featured more prominently, Corsola's stats have been raised slightly, though the buff was later relegated to the Coral Shard item.
