On May 11, 1998, the Tyrant Virus escaped containment at Umbrella Inc.'s Arklay Research Facility. Virtually overnight, all staff were infected, and staff alerted Umbrella Headquarters accordingly. However, communications fell silent before they could follow orders to transfer backup data to the main Umbrella office. Several months later, S.T.A.R.S. would eventually discover the Spencer Mansion and its dark secrets for themselves.But two months passed between the initial outbreak and S.T.A.R.S.'s arrival, and Umbrella did not sit idly by. They instead dispatched one of their agents, Trent, to assess the fate of the Mansion Lab's staff and recover Umbrella's research data while they still could. However, Trent ultimately finds himself entering the world of Survival Horror, and dealing with more than he bargained for.Resident Evil: REVisited is a Total Conversion Mod of Resident Evil 2 and a Fan Game prequel to the very first game in the series. Shout-Out: At the very end of the demo, when the game cuts off with Trent being attacked by The Yawn, a remixed version of Roundabout plays as the game fades to black. The correct order of commands to successfully use the lockpick to get the crowbar is Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right. One of the patrons at the Gene & Roy's Restaurant mutters the names of other Capcom franchises. Furthermore, another patron is found endlessy puking his guts out in the bathroom, in a similar manner to Eddie Dombrowski upon first meeting him in Silent Hill 2. Interacting with the mirror in the bathroom of the dead woman's room will have Trent saying "Here's looking at you, kid." Atop this, she is found in the bathroom, having ostensibly collapsed outside the shower, just like Alice from the live-action films (who she also resembles). In case it wasn't clear enough, she has a note in her hand that says "Today, all your dreams come true" and if Trent checks her body again he quips "She is dead. She will not remember anything." Also, interacting with the phone in the woman's room will get Trent to say "Who you gonna call?" Interacting with a radio in a certain room will have Trent asking what's going on with that radio. | |
