All spoilers for the canon OMORI are unmarked. You Have Been Warned.REVERIE is an episodic OMORI fan mod created by a studio of developers and directed by nrubisco and Stahl. It follows the good ending of the canon game, where Sunny confessed the truth he and Basil hid to his friend group, and he moved out of Faraway Town.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })In CHAPTER 1, Sunny returns to his Headspace — uniquely as his present self instead of through Omori — to find that it has changed drastically. He seeks to make sense of the dreamscape, joined by three unique new party members: bread baker twin Doughie, space pirate Captain Spaceboy, and anthropomorphic donut duchess Sweetheart. The mod's testing demo was published on August 12, 2021. CHAPTER 1 was released on May 23, 2022, with more currently in development. On September 25, 2022, CHAPTER 2 was released alongside a major balance patch to CHAPTER 1.

Who Needs Enemies?: Sunny's new Headspace party isn't nearly as tightly knit as his old friends were, with Sweetheart being of note due to still being her rude and haughty self. However, they are willing to put aside their conflicts, as they wish to make sense of their changed world just as much as Sunny does.
