Saturday Night Swappin' is a Friday Night Funkin' mod created by Roaming_Pikachu, with the aid of a team of developers. This mod serves an alternate universe of Friday Night Funkin' in which the roles of the characters are swapped.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })Currently, the game goes up to Week 3, with Weeks 4-6 still being developed. In December of 2022, the mod received a large overhaul that redid all the character sprites and fixed up all existing songs, along with adding three new ones for the Freeplay menu. Not to be confused with fellow Role Swap AU mod Friday Night Flippin'.

Adaptational Gender Identity: The Steve is this mod is nonbinary; in Tankmen, Steve is (presumably) a cis man, or at the very least never has a confirmed gender identity like they do here.

Adaptational Heroism: Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest's swap counterparts, Dear and Mear, are much more moral than their main versions, never trying to kill anyone and only sealing Yandere away in the game console both unknowingly and in self-defense, while Friday Night Funkin' Daddy Dearest sealed Spirit away purposefully for unstated reasons, and is said to have done similar actions to others as well.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_3'); })

Adaptational Badass: In their original Spooky Month incarnations, Skid and Pump are just abnormally lucky kids, Toon Physics aside. Here, Skid is said to have power over souls at least, and Pump is also said to be stronger than Skid, with the idea of a confrontation with Pump immediately causing Tankman and Steve to bolt at the end of Week 3 pre-1.3.
