Singular Stone is a Metroidvania and a Vocaloid fangame by Tohji Murakata, a Vocaloid producer. It was originally released as a Licensed Game at 2020, but since August 2021, it has been distributed digitally for free.On a faraway planet that looks like Earth, there were a small inhabited island. The local people had been worshipping the Singular Stone since ancient times. However, suddenly a fleet of alien spaceships appeared and snatched the Stone away, unaware that they had unknowingly split the crystal containing the Prime Guardian, Miku. The half of the crystal turned into a mentally unstable entity called Magma Miku and starting a rampage spree, destroying the aliens' fleet in the process. Now it's up to the Guardians to stop the entity before the planet is destroyed. The official site for the game is here note requires a Pixiv account to download

Character Select Forcing: You practically need to use Meiko to get Rin's Level 2 Skill Stone in the East Forest. You need to fight a Dual Boss whose area entrance are underwater. Meiko's Air Ball is easily found at North Lake using Luka. For the boss battle, only Meiko could deal major damage to the bosses at that point.

Close-Range Combatant: Meiko, Kaito, and Miku respectively used martial arts, a sword, and prehensile hair, all have short reach. They later downplayed this, but with different ways: Meiko and Kaito gained projectile attack (energy balls and sword beams respectively) at higher levels. However, the projectile took several moments after the initial attack before it goes off. Miku can switch her attack to fire a freezing laser beam, but only when she had both the Emergency Recovery and her Armor and then took a fatal hit. Also, she must be in her Snow mode.

Boss in Mook Clothing: the lone orange Skyfish in the Canyon, when it's not snowy. It moves very fast, has high HP, and deal a lot of damage especially for early game. There's even a set of platforms specifically designed to avoid it. One of the Floating Rocks in the room accessible near the Canyon's portal to North Lake has defense stat on par with endgame enemies. If you "kill" it, it transform into Will-O-Wisp, a very powerful enemy that can deal 9999 damage, the highest damage in the whole game.
