Zippy Zeke's is introduced by quickly running into town and saying "Meep meep!". Carved next to one of the wanted posters in the jail is "Uncle Jesse was here." There are many Shout-Outs to films starring Clint Eastwood, including the man with the cigarette being an expy of the man himself. One possible death involves the cigarette man shooting No Name's head clean off (literally). The "Do you have the right time, old man?" scene between the Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef expies is a reference to For a Few Dollars More, which they both starred in.
