Tun Town (Mandarin, 阿猫阿狗, lit. "Kitty and Doggy") is a 1998 RPG series made by Taiwan's Softstar Entertainment Inc, set in the titular location - populated by andromorphic canines and felines.A young boy named Lele returns to his childhood hometown of Tun Town, the first time in five years, for summer vacation, only to discover there's a massive war going on between cats and dogs in the town and that he somehow understands the meowing and barking of animals... after saving Hui-hui, his childhood sparrow friend, Lele is drafted into the animal war against his will, with hilarious results.A sequel titled Tun Town 2 was released in 2005. Lele is back, the canines and felines have stopped their scuffle, but now the animals must work together to face a common threat. And again, Lele returns to Tun Town in time for another unexpected adventure.Softstar will later release an Expansion Pack online, available in multiplayer for users to select allegiances between either cats or dogs. | |
