VS. Mario is a Friday Night Funkin' Game Mod developed by QuickestFire, and is a crossover with the iconic Super Mario Bros. series. One day, you somehow end up in the fantastical world of the Mushroom Kingdom, where you run in to the famous Super Mario himself! Unfortunately, you learn from him that your girlfriend had been kidnapped alongside Princess Peach by Bowser. So now you two must team up to save both your girlfriends all while learning the basics of adventuring in the Mushroom Kingdom. The mod originally started out as one week with three songs against Mario without any dialogue in-between songs. But now it's been revamped into VS. Mario Rebooted, which is currently a demo featuring dialogue, new character sprites, a new menu, and two weeks each with one song remixing a tune from the Mario series.OriginalOverworld (Super Mario Bros.)Bob-Ombs (Super Mario 64)Athletic (Super Mario World)RebootedWeek M: Let's-a-go! Excuse Plot: There isn't an explicit reason why BF and GF are in the Mushroom Kingdom. BF doesn't know himself. All we know is that Bowser kidnapped GF alongside Peach for some reason and that he must team up with Mario to save her.

VS. Mario (Video Game) / int_ce6555f0 | comment |
Lighter and Softer: Because this mod takes place in the regular Mario universe, there are no horror or creepypasta elements whatsoever here, unlike other mods such as Monday Night Massacre and especially Mario's Madness. The worst that happens here is Girlfriend getting kidnapped by Bowser alongside Peach.

Adaptational Wimp: Girlfriend. Despite teasing at strong powers in the base game, and outright showing them off to protect Boyfriend in several other mods, here she's been kidnapped by Bowser alongside Peach without any known fight.
