Freedom Fighters is a sprite animation series made by user MartanisIV. Inspired by Super Mario Bros. Z, the series serves as a Crossover between Sonic the Hedgehog and Freedom Planet.After invading Eggman's base, Infinite managed to crush his forces and defeat Sonic and his friends. Desiring to take powers of the Chaos Emeralds for himself, he ignores Eggman's warnings and opens the storage where the doctor stored all Emeralds in. However, when he tried to collect them, the conflicting energies of the Emeralds and his Phantom Ruby tore a rift in space and time, sending Sonic, Tails, Amy, Shadow, Eggman, and Infinite himself into the distant world of Avalice. Their sudden appearance brings attention of the native beings, including our heroines Lilac, Carol and Milla, who arrived just in time to save the heroes from the disastrous ambush by the remnants of Brevon's robotic forces. Meanwhile, Infinite senses a new source of power in the world and seeks to harness it for his own means.And the adventure begins...The series currently consists of a single episode, and can be found on MartanisIV's YouTube channel. |
