In June 2021, they released a video called "If the DDLC crew filmed a movie!", which was more of a hit, distinct* They had already done voice-acted animatics, namely "Helltaker Plays Among Us" and an original series called Mutron which lasted 4 episodes in that they themselves voice acted for it rather than using a song/meme audio. "THE DOLL" is the first episode to feature a character who might be genuinely evil. In "Order up!!", the only reason Bluejay antagonized the Dokis was because Natsuki did that to him first for no reason. Similarly, the lub dub writing club only instigated the rivalry which didn't exist in the first place was because the Dokis refused to believe it was pure coincidence that they look alike and we're selling muffins across their cupcake stand. Olivia establishes herself as a jealous, arrogant jerk in her first appearance and she causes problems for the Dokis by kicking them off the spot they found first. | |
