After the simulation ends, The Men in Black come in, unplug the machine, and wipe Red's mind of the experience, with Lockstin appeasing them by saying that Mega Pokemon don't exist. This is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that Mega-Evolving has been removed from the series as of Gen 8. Mega Audino tries healing Mega Alakazam by whacking it with a medkit from Left 4 Dead (a Call-Back to when Happiny did the same to Azurill in Baby Pokémon Battle Royale, albeit without Louis' voice), and then later goes "It's time to d-d-d-d-d-Duel!" while bringing out its Pokémon card that was used to win in the 2016 World Championships. Mega Sableye uses Stitch voice clips. Before the simulation gets powered down, it shows a list of which Pokémon are most likely to win. Mega Kangaskhan is shown to be third-most likely to win after Mewtwo and Rayquaza, referencing how Mega Kangaskhan was so strong in its debut generation that Smogon banned it to Ubers and it was a mainstay in the 2015 World Championships. | |
