Breaking the Fourth Wall: The show does this on occasion. In "The Great Detective(s) of Waffletown", Pancake wears his spare hat since his actual hat is missing. Pancake says he looks like a goofball, and Mars says that he has to wear it for the whole episode. In "The Rat Problem", the Rat makes a joke about Mars, and a laugh track plays. Mars notices the laugh track and demands the canned laughter to stop. It then cuts to a YouTube video of teeth chattering getting paused. The episodes "Educational Television" and "Not-Pancake's Show" are entire fourth wall breaks, with the former episode essentially being Pancake talking to you about the wonders of nature, and the latter being about every character wanting an episode to themselves. |
