Perfect Kirby is an internet flash series that is somewhat of a crossover between Perfect Dark and Kirby. Kirby is a vigilante, and one night, receives a mysterious phone call and is taken by force to become a secret agent for an organization known as The Institute. He thus gets involved in crazy schemes such as Xboxes being smuggled into England, kidnapped Aliens in Area 52, and saving the president in Alaska. There are many cameos from video game characters and some surreal humor. The series is a three part epic made from 2002 to 2003, alongside a few bonus episodes produced following Episode 3. The series can be viewed on Newgrounds.

Red Herring: The Hippin' Jippin' Gene from Episode 3 creates a lethal gas when combined with Professor $1.99's experimental Double Cherry Kool-Aid formula, and after seeing surveillance footage of Professor Oblivion stealing the formula and discovering that he had apparently researched the gene on $1.99's computer, everyone assumed that he was planning to use this gas to terrorize the world's populace as revenge for being fired. It turns out Roy looked up the information as part of his own plan to take over the world, since the gene creates clones that are easily manipulated, such as then President of the US, George W. Bush. Though when Ian "asks" why Oblivion still took the Kool-Aid formula after discovering that the gas was a coincidence, Oblivion states that Roy hates cherry flavored things, so he used the formula to create Roy's worst fear... the Kool-Aid Man!

Hilarious Outtakes: Many, from a mishap with a wire to Roy saying that he "fried" Oblivion. There's another one in where the man subjected to the test of the Hippin' Jippin' Gene/Kool-Aid gas is spared instead of killed, and starts rejoicing. Kirby, without even leaving his seat, puts a bullet in the guy's head. Kirby had some "alternate reactions" to Professor $1.99's lab being a mess. Professor $1.99 accidentally calling his Kool-Aid triple cherry. Kirby discovers that the briefcase full of gadgets is filled with muffins. And of course, there's this one. Mundane Utility: Kirby's inhale and power-copying abilities are seldom-used and if they are, are usually only used to obtain disguises and not copy the powers of his enemies. Evil Is Petty: Roy, the Big Bad of Episode 3. His plan involves obtaining a blood sample from then-President George W. Bush, extract a rare "funky" gene that can create controllable replicas of said person Bush has in his blood, put the cloned Bush in office, have it put him in charge of the nation's military agencies, conquer every nation of Earth, and use his new position as undisputed ruler of the world to get rid of Professor Oblivion, all because the professor accidentally gave him cherry Kool-Aid instead of coffee.
