Shout-Out Several Sudden Video Game Moments are inspired by Touhou Project and Pokémon. Some of Scout's lines are taken from his actor's YouTube channel, which themselves are shout-outs to various memes. Death Machine will sometimes use Genji's play of the game animations when he makes himself known. Extremely Unusual Troubles has Soldier, Spy and Scout pull off picture-perfect JoJo poses as they square off against Mecha Heavy. The same video has Medic go through a complicated process of turning Scout back to normal, one of which has him sprinkling Good Stuff into a bucket in the exact same manner as Gökçe the Salt Bae, sunglasses and all. The same video also has Soldier...spinning his rockets around in a phallic fashion til a disgusted Spy Dope Slap's him and asks, "What the fuck, Soldier?!"...segueing into a parody of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. The JoJo references are taken further in "Casual Misadventures," which starts with a parody of the second opening, "Bloody Stream", and never really slows down. Very Unusual Troubles has Soldier drifting into the wilderness in Merasmus' Cadillac to the tune of "Deja Vu" and an RPG fight between the BLU Mecha-Spies and the RED Team (Spy, Soldier and Miss Pauling) set to the tune of "Blinded by Light". Catastrophically Unusual Troubles has Ninja Scout finishing off American Boot using Deadshot's super from Injustice 2. Similar to the above, Soldier finishes off Captain Scout in Bizarre Afternoon using Bane's Injustice 2 super. When Merasmus asks Soldier for his pants in Sunday Troubles, Soldier responds with Rohan's "I refuse". In Summer Day, Spy interrupts Heavy and Soldier's argument with a dance in a fedora, referencing Dante's legendary dance sequence from Devil May Cry 5. It's even the same music! The above is then followed up by Demo saying "Ah, cripe. Here we go again", and dancing like Ricardo Milos. Some things in STBlackST's videos are taken from this smexual, including Merasmus' constant mentioning of "Cadillac", "Mystery of the shrunken cock" appearing on a magazine, and another magazine having the text "I am time traveling with grenade in my asshole". In Soldier's Day Off - Part 2, Soldier's request of the DominoZ Engie to "Give me your crap!" is met with a brief scene of the Engie wearing a pork pie hat while he and Soldier cook a batch of blue meth. In "Infinite Unusual Troubles", Spy has an invisible car. At the end of Summer Day, Master Cake and his Soldier recite the famous: "Prepare for a trouble and make it double". Competitive Misadventures has a two in one with a Sudden Video-Game Moment inspired by Super Mario 64 while the objective states "Find "Omelette Du Fromage"". | |

Soldier then put the knowledge to use in "Friday Troubles" to escape from prison after his entire team has been arrested. | |
