Tokyo Fetish Mew was a fanime created by Missy R. which was made to be a takeoff on Tokyo Mew Mew.Tokyo Fetish Mew is no longer available online, as its creator has chosen to distance herself from it, noting in an official statement that it’s “aged poorly� and she no longer feels comfortable displaying a work including “jokes about [fetishes] when the characters involved are underage, even if it's not sexual.� The series was “made at a time when [she] didn't know better, but that has never been an excuse.�The story was based on the character of Akane Shibari who joins forces with a bunch of other girls with various kinks in an attempt to fight off monsters created by puritans who want to enforce vanilla as the way to go.
