Batman Gambit: The druids organizing the Assembly of the Raven don't want Merlin to show up (since they're scheming against him), despite the Assembly being open to all druids. So, they inform him it is themed this year on telling jokes, as well as without alcohol. Some express their doubts and find it risky, but in the end it works just fine and Merlin declines.

Actor Allusion: Seb's druid character is called "Maître Bien-Assez". This is a nod to his frequent role as "David Goodenough" on Joueur du Grenier. At one point, Master Briat tells Pace the elf « Mais ça dépasse l'entendement ! » ("This is beyond comprehension!") This is the catchphrase of a character created by Benzaie for his channel.

Not-So-Omniscient Council of Bickering: Well, being based in Kaamelott, where this trope is omnipresent, it shouldn't be a big surprise that the druid assembly spend most of their time bickering (when not busy drinking).

Sympathetic Magic: The coven of witches suggest to the druids that they'd obtain a personal item from Merlin so that they'd cast a spell on him through it. Master de Kermoal points out they already have a spy at Merlin's lab, but it is so much in disarray that it's hard to find anything useful. Then the elves show a shark tooth they'd stolen from the lab.

Grammar Correction Gag: Throughout the episode "Le Rassemblement de corbeaux", the characters (most prominently Ferrigno the orc) keep reminding the others that their council is "the Assembly of the Raven", not "the Assembly of Ravens", as the latter would imply they call themselves ravens, which they don't.

Retcon: The series explores aspects of season 1 of Kaamelott, re-framing some events. Notably, the Forgetfulness Spell not only explains why Arthur found a dead raven at his door in "Le Signe", but also why the Knights of the Round Table have so much trouble remembering their fallen comrades in the episode "Spangelhelm".

Irony: The roles given to Guillaume Briat and Bô Gaultier de Kermoal. In Kaamelott, they respectively play a buffoonish and moronic king and a mook whose only lines are screaming. Here, their characters are probably the smartest and most eloquent of the druid assembly.
