Danganronpa Parody is an Affectionate Parody of the Visual Novel Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc created by True Review. Although paced In the Style of an Abridged Series, unlike other Gag Dubs, it chooses to parody the game itself instead of the anime with the use of sprite-editing, often remarking upon its mechanics and hanging many a lampshade on the oddness of its plot. It condenses the game's 6 chapters, following a group of 15 students that are trapped in a school and forced to kill each other by a sadistic Killer Teddy Bear. All in all, the series clocks in at just over an hour and 10 minutes: not a bad way to have some fun with the game upon finishing its story. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Final PartFour months after the conclusion of the first series, True Review announced a sequel, Danganronpa 2 Parody 2. There are no plans to follow up with an Ultra Despair Girls Parody or Danganronpa 3 Parody 3 due to burnout.As with all articles on the Danganronpa series, all spoilers will be unmarked. |
