Due to the nature of this work, all spoilers will be unmarked. You Have Been Warned.Epic SMP, sometimes stylized as "EpicSMP", was a shortlived Minecraft survival multiplayer modded roleplay server created by Matt Watson of SuperMega and Trevor ModestCube. Season 1 was first announced to much hype on January 12, 2021, and the server officially just four days later. It is frequently considered to be a Spiritual Successor to SMPLive, despite being largely unaffiliated, due to overlap in server members and general content style.Epic SMP was largely considered a failure as controversy struck early on and the series fizzled out quickly after it started, officially concluding on April 23, 2021. Despite this, a second season was announced a year later in January 2022, being intended as a complete reboot. | |
