Mentions of 2K12 implies the videos take place in 2011, and yet a bong showing Morty and King Jellybean is shown in two videos, implying the series is set in early 2014 at it's earliest. note Rick and Morty's first season premiered in December of 2013, but the episode King Jellybean appears in, Meeseeks & Destroy, premiered on January 13, 2014. Unless the bong was commissioned specifically by Ghetto Ian or Antwon, bootleg merch of Rick and Morty wouldn't be a thing until around season 2, where the show started to become extremely popular. | |
