Awesome, but Impractical: This is a running theme in Jobby's review for MP-45 Bumblebee, which aims for a robot mode with cartoon-accurate proportions and a super-deformed Volkswagen Beetle mode with opening doors. As the gimmick for said doors requires them to be hinged to what become the back of the robot mode's feet and can't completely hide away, the end result is what Jobby describes as "foot backpacks". Additionally, the figure uses a fake car roof for the chest to get the right proportions in robot mode, meaning the real car roof has to try to fold up onto the back and results in a mess of Kibbles and Bits. Figures with very overcomplicated or obnoxious transformations, such as MP-44 Optimus Prime, Devil Savior DS-01 Split (Not Mixmaster), and DS-01 Crimson Wings (Not Starscream), elicit this reaction from him. While they do manage to transform into a really good alt mode or robot mode, the process to it tends to be more tedious than anything, and some of them like Crimson Wings' transformation risk damaging the figure itself. The really bad kind of transformations in particular has become a bit of a Berserk Button in his videos, and bringing it up in the Crimson Wings review literally drove Jobby to insanity, cutting to him knocked out on the couch naked. | |

His Five Nights at Freddy's Nightmare Freddy Funko review has him mention that he doesn't like the Five Nights at Freddy's fanbase, and then compares it with several other fandoms. Kibbles and Bits: Jobby started a joke that he calls #BackLivesMatter for mocking a trend found in later Transformers Masterpiece figures where most of the vehicle parts that can't be integrated into the robot mode get shoved onto the back in an often unaesthetically-pleasing manner. He is very critical of MP-45 Bumblebee for not only shoving most of the car kibble onto the back (the figure uses a fake car roof for the chest, so the real car roof gets folded up onto his back in plain view), but also not having the back kibble tab in. In the same video Jobby also coined the term "Cardboard Engineering"noteIt's when a transforming figure or something similar has an amazing presentation upfront, but the illusion breaks when you see it from the other angle, as if the engineering only covers the front of the figure and not anywhere else, like a cardboard cutout in his criticism towards Takara Tomy who condone this practice, as he believes that a figure is a three-dimensional object and thus it must be presentable in all sides, not only upfront.
