Low Tier God aka Dalauan Sparrow, real name Dale Emmanuel Wilson, a YouTube personality and streamer who specializes in content based around fighting games, particularly Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, although he has also been known to experiment with reaction videos, roasts, fitness and vlogs. A controversial figure within the Fighting Game Community, LTG is known to both his followers and critics alike for his bluntness, unabashed confidence, toxic behavior, eccentric "persona" and fiery hatred for anything that rubs him the wrong way, be it a character, tactic, game or individual. As his name implies, LTG mainly uses characters that are considered lower on the tier lists or are too difficult to be commonly seen in tournament play (this does vary, however, as more often than not LTG tends to end up switching to higher-tier characters on a whim with similar levels of success). He rose to infamy during a dispute with veteran Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom player Viscant, which led to a widely infamous grudge match that went viral. While LTG lost that match in convincing fashion, his notoriety would only grow from there. It should be noted that LTG, for all his flaws, is a decently competent player, which is part of why he actually has a fanbase. However, he has no notable tournament showings/placement or notable wins against well-known players — and on the off-chances that he plays against players in bracket with far better showings than him, the wins they take from him tend to be quickly forgotten by both his opponents and the crowd. He's also sponsored by his own self-created label as opposed to many top players who are often scouted and sponsored by big brands, whereas no company has ever offered LTG a sponsorship. He has a playstyle that is widely interpreted as straightforward and lacking the ability to adapt (which isn't helped by his tendency to exit to the home screen when he believes he's about to lose a match, which takes control away from himself), and is generally not held in high regard by the majority of the FGC. This is a result of both his playstyle and his general attitude, the latter of which has ultimately culminated in an indefinite ban from almost every large and notable tournament in the competitive scene, including EVO and the Capcom Cup series, two of the largest and most prolific FGC tourneys in the world (it should be noted that those two are global bans, meaning that even if he tried to travel to compete, he would be unable to play). You can find his streaming channel here.

Low Tier God (Web Video) / int_1235f055 | comment |
Dirty Coward: Half of his play style revolves around him throwing ranged attacks as zoner characters and being a screen away from the opponent or trying to get away from them and dares to call this "footsies". This tactic can be best seen with his SF4 main, Rolento. The other half is him being reliant on characters with armor frames, good projectiles for non-zoner standards, or escape options. Dale is also a notable keyboard warrior: he will talk mad smack, up to and including the ability to beating people up, but put him in a public space with players his size or bigger, and he's rather subdued. Even his stare down with Viscant (a guy shorter than him) ended with Dale running. On that note, Dale has thrown down the gauntlet for 7 fist fights prior to his permaban from EVO in an attempt to put his money where his mouth is. When they were all answered, however, he had ducked all 7 of them. If he gets beaten/mad enough in Smash Ultimate, he will force his opponent into a 2v1 match up, or sic another player against him in his stead. In general, Dale will sooner jump into alt accounts to restart his grind in various ranked modes across many a game because eventually he gets to the point where he fights more and more competent players who can check his play style, rather than adapt and forge ahead.

Low Tier God (Web Video) / int_295087bf | comment |
Non-Indicative Name: Actually favors mid to high-tier characters more often than low-tiers (such as Snake in Smash, who is considered high-tier). He usually "justifies" this by stating that he goes by his own definition of "meta" and "tier", and that the characters he plays only "look top tier" if played well. According to LTG himself, the "God" part of the name carries a philosophical meaning instead of a competitive one. According to him, since God made man in his image, a fraction of a deity's potential exists within every human being. Hence, Low Tier God.

Narcissist: He calls himself a narcissist, and sees nothing wrong with being one on the grounds that it is "knowing one's worth". Any negative connotations of the term that could, can, and will be applied to him are inconsequential for him. He considers anyone who uses the same character he considers a stream sniper", even in games with a small roster like SF6, because he feels like he should be the only one playing that character.

Rule of Perception | |
Low Tier God (Web Video) / int_5565c2dd | comment |
Rule of Perception: When he suffers a loss or is in the middle of an opponent's super regardless if it will kill or not, he has a habit of opening the console dashboard to hide the loss screen. When asked why he does it, he's replied that it's to deny his opponents the "satisfaction of seeing it". Viewers have pointed out that the opponents can see on their own monitors no matter what, but LTG believes that seeing it on his screen is what counts. So if no one can see it on his screen, it basically didn't happen. In another case of "no one can see it on his screen, therefore it didn't happen", LTG has "stealthily" rage quit in Street Fighter 6 behind his Intermission screen, then acts like nothing untoward happens once he goes back, silently banning anyone who comments on it while also not muting game audio during any of this. He's under the apparent belief that everyone started playing SF6 the same time as him since launch and play just as much as him, and that other players just play only one character. Just a reminder, he streams every day of every week.

Low Tier God (Web Video) / int_92d7976 | comment |
You Keep Using That Word: Every so often Dale will use a random word he seemed to have recently learned (such as "remedial" or "rebuttal") and try to put it in various ways that definitely are incorrect ways to use them (such as "remedial combos/game", etc.), often in negative ways to describe other players and their skills, presumably to come off as more intelligent. "Stream sniper" is an accusation he throws around a lot and makes it seem like a big problem; however, Dale's bread and butter genre is fighting games, a genre where stream sniping is at its least impactful. Listen to LTG long enough and "scrub", "nervous", "yolo", "trash", and the like lose their meaning, as he uses it to describe literally anyone that matches up with him, even if they beat or Perfect him. Zigzagged with "wake-up attacks". He's just as likely to use the term correctly as he is to call any attack that caught him unawares, from attacks thrown out of hitstun to punishes and, most egregiously, a standing neutral super.

Low Tier God (Web Video) / int_cb83d23b | comment |
I Just Want to Be Special: Discussed on-stream. Low Tier God's behavior, attitude and beliefs almost entirely center on a desire that he is "special", or deserves to be. In the past, he has referred to himself as a "god", "extraterrestrial" or "evolved human" (which his beliefs state are all one in the same), thus he feels that any flaws or rules that apply to most people don't apply to him. This is also why he only uses characters that most people don't use: because it makes him stand out. If a character he once liked (such as Seth or G) becomes too popular or used, he will stop using them because, in his own words, that is proof that those characters are easy or corny.

…But He Sounds Handsome: In spite of his YouTube channel's permanent ban, Dale cycles through many a sock puppet account to comment on various videos owned by various detractor accounts, defending his own honor. Telling clues that the accounts belong to Dale is that their phrasing is aggressive in tone, insistent that LTG is a very successful streamer, claims LTG rakes in thousands of dollars a month (at first 2, then upgraded to 20), and constantly misspells "incel" as "insell". Oh, and most damningly, they follow a Theme Naming of Covenant (insert position of power), AND have a profile picture depicting Dale.
