Touhou Igyoukyo ~ Grotesque Land Story (or simply called "Grotesque Land Story") is a Web Original series of videos made by Nico Nico Douga user Sushi Hero Toro (who also owns a YouTube channel), telling a harrowing and violent story about Gensokyo folks being hunted by mysteriously mutated creatures and trying their best to survive. Set in an "alternate" Gensokyo, it's notable for portraying a number of characters fighting many mysterious mutated creatures in more violent ways than danmaku duels in canon. It is well-known in the Japanese Touhou fandom for its Crapsaccharine World depiction of Gensokyo, enough to draw comparison with Koishi Komeiji's Heart-Throbbing Adventure. The first video of the series was uploaded in 2014, and it is still ongoing.The Japanese version can be watched on Youtube and Nico Nico Douga.Some other Youtube channel users are making attempts to translate this fanfiction into English language, though it hasn't been completed yet.
