Greetings, faithful topic! YungJunko is a YouTube personality who started out in 2018. He's a talking trash can with a stock photo as one of his eyes and, as he himself put it, "junk is [his] specialty." That is to say, he focuses on reviewing games and movies which for the most part have gone overlooked or forgotten by many others. He also has quite the affinity for the PlayStation Portable and the Star Wars franchise.

The Problem with Licensed Games
Yung Junko (Web Video) / int_1c0718c5
comment
The Problem with Licensed Games / No Problem with Licensed Games: invoked Weird PSP Licensed Games and PSP Movie Games have Junko cover - you guessed it - weird and obscure licensed games on PSP. Most of them are predictably mediocre, with some like Xiaolin Showdown, Eragon, and Transformers: The Game even failing to live up to their potential, but he does find a few gems in the form of Shrek Smash n' Crash Racing, Snoopy vs. the Red Baron, Jackass: The Game, and 300: March to Glory. This is further discussed in Original Xbox: Launch Titles vs Last Titles, wherein Junko goes further into his disappointment with the Xiaolin Showdown video game, admits to liking "Shrekbox" despite - or even because of - how off-brand and janky it is, and finds the Ratatouille video game genuinely fun.

Master of None
Yung Junko (Web Video) / int_2804d516
comment
Master of None: Junko figures the PSP was becoming this during the later years of its life; with how much more expensive making home console games was becoming, the PSP was struggling to keep up the promise of offering home console games on the go, and developers for the handheld games figured it'd be easier to simply make a DS game with a lower production value for a larger install base. This in turn left PSP versions of games to either be ported up from the DS versions like with the later LEGO games on PSP, get canned early into development like with The Force Unleashed II and Sonic Generations, or not be considered at all. He currently considers the Xbox 360 to be this nowadays, as the majority of big titles released on the platform have since been made available for play elsewhere and what's left on the 360 are a bunch of random games and generic shooters that might completely fade into obscurity within the next few years.

And I Must Scream: Weird PSP Licensed Games starts with Junko being stranded in the realm of licensed movie/TV tie-in PSP games, reminiscing on the games he talked about that led to the pickle he's currently in, returning to the present at the end of the episode. WILL YUNGJUNKO EVER ESCAPE??? NO.

Take That!: Weird PSP Licensed Games has a fair few, especially toward X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The HyperScan Horror of Christmas '06 and The Spider-Man Game that NOBODY Played- HyperScan Spider-Man + Marvel Heroes sees Junko say many things about the titular console, almost none of them good. PSP Movie Games has Junko deliver some blows toward Dragon Ball: Evolution as well as the idea of a family film like Arthur and the Invisibles being written and directed by Luc Bessonnote who also wrote and directed The Fifth Element of all people. In 50 Cent Games, when Junko compliments the controls of 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand, he throws some shade at games like Uncharted in the process.

Berserk Button: Junko is baffled and frustrated by the fact that LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga never made it to PSP, despite half the work for it already being done. Apparently Yoda hates LEGO due to being too old for it.note Most LEGO sets say they're for "ages 3-99", and Yoda is about 900 years old.

Ascend to a Higher Plane of Existence / Heroic Sacrifice: At the end of The HyperScan Horror of Christmas '06, a knocked-over Junko gives up his life to banish his HyperScan, his soul flying off to parts unknown. It doesn't last long, as said HyperScan forcibly brings him Back from the Dead and sets him upright once more.

Running Gag: Every Star Wars Game on PSP Reviewed has its own running gag in the form of a character proclaiming, "I saved Star Wars." Rodrigo, a (presumably) hypothetical kid whose parent(s) kept buying games for his handheld systems even as said handhelds were approaching the ends of their respective lives (such as Shrek the Third on Game Boy Advance in 2007 or LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 on PSP in 2011) because they were the only gaming options he had. "HE/THEY SAID THE THING," in regards to a Star Wars character saying an iconic line.
