Experience Boost is a webcomic by Robin Brooks that follows the adventures of Keran, Vedrana, and their friends (and enemies) in the fictional MMO Realm of Quests. Early strips are mostly one-shot gags about the various quirks of playing MMOs, but as the series goes on it progresses into a story-based comic with multiple arcs centered around Keran and Vedrana's guild, One Crit Wonder, as they progress through the game's raids and various features. Despite ostensibly being a comic about video games, there's a strong focus on how the characters, and the people they're attached to, interact in the world of Realm of Quests. Along the way, they all change and grow as people- some for better, and others for worse.The comic ran from 2013-2019, completing its story. The full comic can be read here. | |

But when Zhusen comes out, his sole remark is to make a quick (but not hurtful) joke about it, and afterwards, he's very careful to get her pronouns right, even correcting himself in voice chat when he slips up. Theron, Lysandra, and Zhusen spend dozens of strips in a high-stakes treasure hunt against both the Vanguard and the Legion that pushes Theron and Lysandra's patience with each other to the breaking point (and both of them seriously considering offing Zhusen to nab the treasure for themselves...only for them to find out that it's a lute- a weapon for bards that none of them can use. | |

After doing so, a massive group of Vanguard players sweep the pond of the Legion, allowing him to fish again, much to his surprise. | |
