Shisaku Hokuo Shinwa(New Reading Norse Mythology) also known as "Edda" is a japanese webcomic meant to adapt Norse Mythology into a shounen type manga for simplism and entertainment's sake.A young frost thurs named Vakr was born in the primordial world and lived there with his younger brother Vili, his older half brother Bergelmir, his father Borr and uncle Mímir. Vakr was bullied by Bergelmir and abused by Borr due to being born with weak magic but he was still determined to keep Vili safe. The brothers met and became friends with a mountain thurs named Vé and with encouragement from Mímir, went to Ginnungagap hoping to get more magical power. They accidently woke up Ymir and triggered the rebirth of the world.Such is the story of Odin, Hoenir, and Loki, the three gods of the genesis, and how their realm of Asgard came to be. 30 after the event Odin has taken multiple wifes and is still working hard on fortifying the realm with his brothers, but gets told by the norns that their world will eventually come to an end. Frantic, Odin resolves to keep up the work and make Asgard the mightiest realm, even if it means having to go to war.The manga is written by Takashi sightow and published on the website Melcolon.
