The Far Travelers is a Heroic Fantasy and Comic Fantasy Webcomic created by Modstin Pierce, started in late 2022 and is ongoing. It is hosted on the Neocities website of Chromaverse.net, as well as other art hosting services. It features Action and Comedy in similar measure.The Webcomic features a standard Adventuring Party who run up against villains and monsters of all sorts as they seek to bring about a new age of Adventuring. The heroes of Daedr, Sindel, Thell, Ifne, Briar, and Valor all come from varying backgrounds and histories, though all seek to change the world in their own little ways.The series takes place in a fantasy setting based primarily around Color-Coded Wizardry, in which every extraordinary power or ability is attributed to the use of a kind of Magical Energy called 'Chroma'. The protagonists of the series are each representative of one of the six colors of Chroma, though the extent to what specifically fits in each color is, as of yet, not strictly defined.The Webcomic began with an Episodic Structure, but is undergoing a page overhaul that splits the series into Issues in the style of contemporary print comics. | |
