Zelda Comic - inspired by 8-Bit Theater, mainly based on Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.Follow Link on his (mis)adventures, accompanied by: Navi from Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Tries to inform Link of what to do. Mainly an annoyance. Bub from Bubble Bobble - felt like helping Pit from Kid Icarus - waiting for his royalty check Sheik - who for some reason can't inform Link that Zelda is fine, or that he is her. Take Our Word for It, it was tried.Initially, the webcomic had no long lasting story, until unexpectedly Ganondorf kidnapped Zelda. From there on, one would think that Link would follow the same format as every Zelda game: Go from dungeon to dungeon collecting items to use against a series of increasingly difficult bosses. But this Link is different: He actually goes straight to the last dungeon to face off against Ganondorf, with no items at all (see Bag of Spilling). When he got there, he found not Ganondorf (he went to the first dungeon to catch Link off guard), but Pikachu!!!From there, the (un)usual format resumes: spelunking, versing Carl, and going with the wind (because Destiny will point the right way anyway). Somewhere in the middle of the story, a new evil shows up, defeats many villains (which just happen to give Link increases in power), and... the audience has been stuck there ever since.Zelda Comic was officially ended in June 2014, more than 3 years after the previous update.

Sorting Algorithm of Evil
Zelda Comic (Webcomic) / int_323f135b | comment |
Sorting Algorithm of Evil: Ganondorf's advisor The Miscreant (a.k.a. Kasuto) suggests inverting this and send his most powerful minions after Link while he's at his weakest, rather than his usual tack of sending gradually stronger enemies so that Link can gain power by defeating them.

Bad Boss: Ganon. In episode 3, he kills one of his minions just because it asked him whether Link really says "Ooh, I'm Link, a big jerk! Look at me, being a big jerk all the time!" and burns another one just because it told him that his idea is stupid.

Welcome to Corneria: In episode 14, Link tries to get info from an ordinary woman in the town of Ruto, but all she responds with is a variation of "Hello!" She eventually gets annoyed as she doesn't know how many times she has to say "Hello!" before they go away and returns to saying the word.

Idiot Hero: Link, very much so. For one, he's so set in his Stay in the Kitchen mindset that finding out Sheik is Zelda utterly breaks him.

Stay in the Kitchen: In episode 9, Zelda wants to tag along on Link's quest, but Link is unsure as he thinks that the addition of a third party member could compromise the group dynamic between him and Navi, plus he mentions that girls can't fight, irritating her. He ultimately decides that she should come along, though.
