Fugget About It is a Canadian Animated Sitcom created by Nicholas Tabarrok and Willem Wennekers and produced by 9 Story Media Group as the studio's first and only adult-aimed cartoon. Originally created for Teletoon's Pilot Project in 2008, it was later picked up for a full series that premiered in 2012 on the network's Teletoon at Night block. The series follows the life of Jimmy Falcone, an influential mafia capo from New York affiliated with the Gambini crime family. One day, Jimmy discovers that his uncle and fellow capo Cheech is about to be "wacked" for leaking secrets to the mob's enemies. To save his uncle, Jimmy sets out to talk to the Don about calling off the hit, but instead he ends up killing his own boss. Outraged by this betrayal, Jimmy's fellow mobsters put a hit out on Jimmy. With his life in serious danger, Jimmy turns to the feds and agrees to go into Witness Protection in exchange for ratting out his friends and coworkers to them. Once the deed is done, Jimmy is moved to Vagina— erm, Regina— Saskatchewan in Canada, taking up the surname McDougal. Coming along with him is his family, composed of his wife Cookie, his oldest daughter Theresa, his only son Petey, his younger daughter Gina, and of course, Uncle Cheech. Overseeing the Falcones new life in Canada is Strait McCool, a proudly goody-two-shoes officer of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. But if you think just because the Falcones have changed their names, they're gonna change themselves, FUGGET ABOUT IT!The series stars Tony Nappo, Jacqueline Pillon, Chuck Shamata, Emilie-Claire Barlow, Danny Smith, Linda Kash and Ted Atherton. It ran for 46 episodes split over 3 seasons, and also aired in the United States exclusively on Hulu.

Two-Person Love Triangle: "Sex on Ice" has Jimmy disguise as a mysterious masked man named "Jinksy" to become well-known for his art without being noticed. Cookie falls for "Jinksy" and cheats on Jimmy with him, unaware that he's Jimmy in disguise. At the end Cookie admits that she'd recognized him, but went along with the masquerade for the thrills.

Fugget About It / int_1c74e774 | comment |
Hillbilly Incest: The episode "Just Stick It In That There Doo-Dad" exaggerates this. Jimmy and Cookie are captured by hillbillies from rural Saskatchewan, solely for the purpose of getting some outsider DNA into their bloodstream. They threaten to kill them unless Jimmy has sex with all their women. Their constant inbreeding led to their kids being... weird. Cut to 4 albino kids levitating and reading advanced literature. They even mock Cookie for not being related to her husband. They refer to themselves as "brother-cousin-father-sons." When Jimmy refuses to have sex with them, stating that he's only loyal to his wife, they bring out a machine (which seems to be made from moonshining equipment) which painfully clamps onto someone's genitals and extracts their sperm.

Fugget About It / int_1dfd19f9 | comment |
Papa Wolf: Jimmy. The reason he killed Gambini was because he talked about how sexy Theresa is. When a gun alert in Gina's school Jimmy rammed his car through the living room asking Cookie and Cheech to get in. He also gets McCool fired after he thinks he's been sleeping with Theresa due to a misunderstanding. He originally wanted to just outright murder him but Cookie convinced him that the pain of becoming a public pariah would be worse. In the first episode, Theresa doesn't understand why all the boys in her new school seem to be ignoring her. As the viewer then sees, Jimmy has been pulling a gun on any boy who even thinks about hitting on her. In the same episode when Jimmy sees Petey getting threatened by some bullies, he's about to walk over there with a bat.

Seduction-Proof Marriage: Jimmy and (sometimes...) Cookie. Jimmy shows no interest in other women, and whenever he is advanced upon sharply rebutes with an 'I'm married!' comment. It comes full-circle when he is surrounded by three drop-dead gorgeous women who he is being forced to impregnate with permission from Cookie even. Despite this, he continues to refuse this, stating that he's never cheated on her and not about to start. This extends so far that he'd let his 'wazoo' get mutilated by a machine!

When he is finally forced to bring her, he takes any minor comment his family makes as some kind of racist commentary and tries to pre-emptively defend himself, but he brings too much attention to her race, giving the impression that's all he can see and offends her himself, so she breaks up with him.

Last One's Ploy: The episode "Effin' Neighbors, Eh?" has Jimmy running into conflict with a trio of Canadian hosers squatting in the vacant house next door who are able to annoy him as much as they want without consequence while also receiving an unlimited supply of beer, cigarettes, and coffee from the government due to the Heritage Protection Council of Canada labelling them an endangered culture. That is until they're exposed as frauds after getting caught drinking non-Canadian beer, which real hosers are biologically incapable of, causing their protection status to be revoked and giving Jimmy free rein to do whatever he wants with them.

Incest Subtext. Played for Laughs and lampshaded with Theresa and Petey, but mostly on Theresa's part. Once when Petey built a robot version of himself to hit on girls for him which apparently worked on Theresa, causing her to flirt with his "robot friend". Then another instance when Petey got botox injections to cure his excessive sweating, which end up with him having a chiseled face that all the girls in school, again, including his sister, found handsome. Both times, Petey cringed. The humor in this is also milked for all its worth in the subplot of "Casino Loyale" when Theresa offers to pretend to be Petey's date to impress Petey's crush into thinking he was cool enough to get a hot girlfriend (long story).

No Endor Holocaust | |
Fugget About It / int_e62dfb96 | comment |
No Endor Holocaust: Exaggerated and Played for Laughs. Cheech's pigeon meat chili that caused literal explosive diarrhea (which includes a lot of exploding bodies and limbs being blown off a la Saving Private Ryan) apparently only got the entire football team hospitalized due to food poisoning with no fatality whatsoever since Jimmy only referred to them as "almost getting killed."

The Load | |
Fugget About It / int_e68b72 | comment |
The Load: Cheech, him being put on Gambini's hit list kickstarted the events that lead to the Falcone asking for witness protection. It doesn't improve from there, as Cheech remains just as loopy and unpredictable as before, and often gets everyone in trouble.

All Just a Dream: The Yo-Yo Vigilante episode is revealed to just be Cheech and Jimmy imagining two-thirds of the episode while stoned out of their minds.

Damn, It Feels Good to Be a Gangster!: Jimmy, Cheech and Gina are all firm believers in this, despite how dangerous it was, and they miss the glamorous parts of criminal life terribly.

Kitschy Local Commercial
Fugget About It / int_f5418d03 | comment |
Kitschy Local Commercial: The web commercial for Theresa's product, Ass-Jax, involves the Falcone siblings in cheap costumes, poor reenactment of "strangers" complimenting female!Petey's fake ass, various rooms in their house substituting for different establishments, and the final shot of the product is at the breakfast table with a plate of bacon and eggs still visible in the foreground. Admittedly, Theresa's narration and the music is the only thing in the commercial that sounds legit.

Running Gag: Every episode begins with a flashback scene of Jimmy's mob life, and the events that led to him being in witness protection. He also pronounces Regina as "Vagina", only to be corrected by Cookie. Also before the theme song, Jimmy or a member of his family gives a Title Drop.
