Just Super (Helt Super in Norwegian) is an animated superhero movie directed by Rasmus Andre Sivertsen released in Norway in 2022 with an international dub set to follow shortly after. It tells the story of a young girl named Hedvig whose father is the famous and beloved superhero Super Lion. Wanting his daughter to follow in his footsteps and don the cape herself one day Super Lion seeks to have her succeed him as the next generation's Super Lion and keep the hero's legacy alive. The only problem is that Hedvig isn't much cut out for the role of a hero... at least not one like Super Lion due to a strong preference for video games over any sort of traditional heroics, unlike her more athletic cousin Adrian. Can this unlikely new heroine find a place for herself in the world of superheroes and please her dad in the process or will she just stay stuck on the sidelines her whole life?An English trailer can be found here. | |
