Little Quacker is a 1950 Tom and Jerry cartoon directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. It is notable for being the debut of Quacker the duckling, who would later go on to be a recurring character in the franchise.A mother duck living in the countryside goes out to swim in a pond, leaving behind her single egg in the nest. Tom, who is in the mood for breakfast, snatches the egg and takes it into the kitchen to cook it, but instead of white and yolk, the egg reveals a living and breathing duckling named Quacker. Initially irritated, Tom decides to go with roast duck instead and tries to kill the duckling, who escapes and befriends Jerry. Soon, Quacker and Jerry try to escape Tom and search for the former's mother. | |
