Nerdland is a 2016 direct-to-video animated dark comedy film starring Paul Rudd as John and Patton Oswalt as Elliot — two slackers who are pushing 30 and want to make a name for themselves. It also stars Hannibal Buress as Nerd King who runs a collectibles shop. Kate Micucci and Riki Lindhome star as Sally and Linda, two aspiring actresses working in retail. John Ennis stars as a detective and Mike Judge plays Archie, a homeless veteran.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })The film was originally slated for a theatrical release, but ended up being traded to a different publisher and ultimately ended up as a direct-to-video film, then ending up on Netflix a few months later. | |
