Noel	comment	Noel is a 1992 Christmas Special from Rankin/Bass. It focuses on a cheerful Christmas bulb crafted with the joyful tear of a glassblower. The other ornaments Noel is boxed with find its optimism overbearing, particularly the angel ornament Ms. Frisenda. Once the ornaments are bought and taken to a happy family household, Noel is delighted by the merriment of the "people things". However, such merriment only comes around at Christmas so Noel has to cope with trees being retired and being put in the box until next Christmas. This goes on for each and every year until the ornaments are abandoned after the house's original residents have moved or passed on.
