The fight against Diarmuid takes place at the site of the hotel his masters were staying at in Fate/Zero. Shirou mentions that the hotel was destroyed for some reason. This greatly affects Miyu's behaviour towards him, as she is subtly seeking affection from him because she misses her brother so much. Shirou also has Emiya Alter. Initially he is convinced that he is doomed to go down the same path as him, but Muramasa manages to snap him out of it. The Assassin card is an alternate version of Kiritsugu. Shirou and Kiritsugu figure it out when the former starts recounting their battle to the later, including a description of his trademark gun and Origin Bullets. | |
